Devoted supporters of the pop star are calling for that a person who breached a barrier and touched the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared clip shows the individual from Australia pushing past photographers and rushing toward Grande while the actors made its way down a promenade accompanied by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the surprised star away from Mr Wen, who was observed being led away of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being taken in", though court documents revealed that he was scheduled to be present on the following morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

History of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a performance. His Instagram account contains recordings of him disturbing other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney concert in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the same location last December.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is clearly a legal violation," stated an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his actions.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" another Instagram user remarked.

Fans Voice Worry Over Ariana's Safety

Many supporters blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the end of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote one more message on Instagram.

Several fans also questioned event staff at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while some requested online networks to ban Mr Wen's videos.

Response and Event Details

In footage circulating online, Grande seemed startled when she was touched by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.

Numerous of fans had assembled in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore mall, including a number who had waited for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The film, to be launched on the 21st of November, is the second of a two-film interpretation of the well-known theatrical show Wicked, which focuses on the surprising friendship between two very different characters.

The show itself is a spin-off of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a rosé sequin dress at the gathering while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress featuring roses.

They were accompanied by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the top-earning film of last year in the UK, and scored 10 award recognitions, earning two for excellent wardrobe and production design.
